8 Best Bollywood Romantic Movies – Monsoon Special

R for Rain and R for Romance!

Scorpios are born romantic and so am I 😉

Monsoon is my favorite season since childhood. The roaring cloud, raindrops, and petrichor attract me always. Rain reminds all my beautiful memories. My teenage, my adulthood has got drenched in rain so many times. With the rain I reminiscence those school days, my first love – the walk-in rain sharing the same umbrella! The earthy smell, wet road and a warm touch – my life was like a SRK movie with full of love and romance!

If you are a regular reader of my blog then you know my love for Bollywood. Bollywood actors, their movies, Bollywood songs attract me always. I keep a close watch on their Instagram feeds to get latest updates.

When we are discussing Bollywood’s romantic movies, then Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is the first name I should mention. Raj – Simran and their magical chemistry! Literally, I can watch this film again and again.

Kaho Na Pyaar Hai:

It was Hrithik’s debut movie and one of the biggest hit of Bollywood till date. I was in class seven, I had a SRK’s posters copy already but after this movie, I started collecting Hrithik’s posters also.

RHTDM:

This is my favorite movie for so many reasons. Ever handsome R. Madhavan, graceful Dia Mirza, and the songs! Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein was a musical hit.

Saathiya:

I am a big fan of Rani Mukherjee. From K2H2 to Hichki she is just brilliant. In Saathiya what I love is Suhani (Rani) and Aditya’s (Vivek Oberoi) ‘train wala love kissa’. This film has good songs also.

Salaam-E-Ishq:

Yes, I know it shouldn’t be in the ‘anytime watch’ list. But I have some special connection with this movie. I first watched this film in movie hall with my friends. I was in college (1st year). Then second time I watched this movie with my boyfriend. This film is based on the story of 6 couples. Songs are good. I can watch this movie again and again just to cherish my old memories. 🙂

Lootera:

I don’t know why this movie didn’t get success? Ranveer and Sonakshi both were brilliant. I don’t know about others but personally, I love this movie. I will request you all to watch it once.

Highway:

In recent times, Alia Bhatt is the most powerful actors of Bollywood. It is a ‘hatke’ love story of Veera and Mahabir. I have fallen in love with Mahabir. No comments for Randeep Hooda – he is my recent crush!! 😉

Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana:

This is not a so-called romantic film. It is a love and hate story of Satyendra and Aarti. Hope you all will like this movie. I can watch it so many times just because of Rajkumar Rao.
