My Baby Is Smiling Now – I Have A Solution For His Blocked Nose

I still remember that day! My son, Micky, was just 3 months old. In the morning, I saw that he could not breathe properly and a peculiar sound was coming out from his nose. He was feeling uncomfortable and was crying nonstop. I was a helpless mom who didn’t know what exactly to do. I was trying my best to give him the maximum comfort. First I thought he was hungry so I tried to breastfeed him but he was not able to slurp the milk! Due to the nasal congestion, he was avoiding eating and he didn’t even sleep that day.

In the evening we went to doctor’s clinic who prescribed him a nasal drop. He advised me to give 1-2 drops into each nostril 2-3 times per day. Over the next few days, the nasal drops worked like magic. My son was smiling again and I was relaxed finally. From that time, wherever I go, I always carry this nasal drop with me. Now Mickey is 3.7 yrs. old but still, I use this drop whenever I observe any nasal congestion.

Nasivion® Mini (Baby) Nose Drops (For 0 – 1 yrs)

Dosage:  Give 1 drop into each nostril 2-3 times/day (Up to the age of 4 weeks)

1 – 2 drops into each nostril 2 – 3 times/day (From 5 week to 1 year)

Nasivion® Pediatric (Child) Nose Drops (For 1 – 6 yrs)

Dosage:  Give 1-2 drops into each nostril 2-3 times per day or as directed by the physician.

I think all mothers should be aware of the symptoms of nasal congestion:

  • Sleep deprivation: For the nasal blockage, your child won’t able to sleep peacefully and feel drowsy too.
  • Crankiness: Children start nagging because of this discomfort.
  • Avoid Eating: They don’t want to eat due to the nasal congestion
  • Obligatory nose breathers: Children in between 0 – 1yr olds are obligatory nose breathers. That’s why nasal congestion creates breathing difficulty for them.

If you ever observe the above-mentioned symptoms, consult with your pediatrician about giving your baby Nasivion nose drops.
As a mother, we want to give our child the best comfort. Their happy faces make our day. Nasal congestion is a common problem for the babies under 1yr of age. So please keep this nose drop with you always and, after a go-ahead from your doctor, give it to your munchkin if he/she suffers from nasal congestion.

Be The Super Mom 🙂

Note: Nasivion Nasal Saline Solution is safe and can be used by anyone for first line of treatment. If the problem is serious then, after consulting the doctor, one can opt for Nasivion (Mini) Baby Nose Drops or Nasivion Pediatric (Child) Nose drops depending on the age of the child.

So we can say Happy Nose Happy Mom!!
