2017 was a happening year for the Bollywood stars and celebs as many of them got hitched and gave us major wedding goals not only in terms of vows but also set a trend for fashion. So, in this blog, I am going to present the best three looks of Indian brides that impressed me the most and their bridal avatars can also be replicated easily by anyone. Scroll down to get the glimpses of traditional brides.
In the beginning of the year we got a lovely pair – Neil Nitin Mukesh and Rukmini Sahay who tied the knot following the traditional Hindu rituals.
Their destination style wedding in Udaipur filled with countless functions was a gorgeous affair. What caught my attention was their matching costume at the reception held in Mumbai.
The emerald green designer lehenga by Manav Gangwani gave the bride a ravishing look and she exuded class and sophistication with utmost elegance. So for me, green can be a better substitute for the conventional vermillion red which is normally worn by all.
Two famous cricketers hot hitched with Bollywood divas last year and like me, I know you all simply couldn’t take your eyes off the two brides who looked equally stunning on their D-days.
Sagarika Ghatge and Zaheer Khan made a beautiful pair and their picture-perfect wedding looks were simply ravishing. The actress cast a spell donning a resplendent Anita Dongre ensemble and made me fall in love with traditional shade all over again.
The pretty bride decked-up in traditional jewellery with mehedi-laden hands looked drop-dead gorgeous on the wedding day and her ethereal look in the reception too didn’t go unnoticed.
She made a splash donning a shimmery gold lehenga. Quite unconventional yet classy!
The secret wedding of Indian captain Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma took the internet by storm. The color-coordinated couple simply won my heart with their choice of clothes. Both draped in designer Sabyasachi’s fabulous collection sported an ethnic look for the very special day. Anushka nailed the bridal look in a pastel shade lehenga featuring exotic motifs and heavy embroidery and to complement the pale pink outfit she carefully opted for layered neckpiece, a pair of jhumkas, and mathapatti and set a new style for the brides.
Ever since I saw these highly fashionable brides who looked radiant on their special d-days I have fallen in love with their bridal trousseau. Do share your opinion about these looks and your favorite bride of 2017.
